Skybridge Capital founder: Trump's "meme coins and other crypto businesses create 'pathways' for corruption"

Internet reports that according to Anthony Scaramucci, a brief former communications director at the White House and founder of SkyBridge Capital, President Donald Trump's meme coin and other crypto businesses create "pathways" for corruption. At the Financial Times Digital Assets Summit, Scaramucci said that the Trump family's involvement in cryptocurrencies-including the President's Solana "Terrier" currency, World Liberty Financial, Trump Media's cooperation with Crypto.com, etc. -is a "interference" that prevents a cross-party consensus around cryptocurrencies. Scaramucci said of the Trump family and its encryption business: "Let's assume they are innocent. But I do believe that there is a certain avenue to corruption, potential bribery and 'evil doing', if you can call it that. I think we want people not to have these avenues or to rule them out entirely." Scaramucci, who briefly worked for President Trump for a few days in 2017, said removing these "distractions""would make it easier for older members of Congress who are still skeptical about cryptocurrencies to accept cryptocurrencies."
