On May 7, Tomasz Stańczak, co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, announced the establishment of Lantern Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm with Gökhan and Nethermind. It will represent Nethermind in joining LanternCapital as a general partner on the investment committee. Lantern Capital will support founders in creating the next wave of applications and experiences that allow AI systems to effectively interact with blockchain. The focus is on achieving secure, verifiable coordination, including enhancing the agent experience (AX) and ensuring that the underlying infrastructure can reliably support these more dynamic use cases. Ethereum remains at the heart of this vision.
