Trump's use of presidential seal at $TRUMP dinner sparked controversy
Internet reports, Forbes reported that U.S. President Trump used the presidential seal at the $TRUMP Investor Dinner hosted at the Trump National Golf Club on Thursday, although the White House said he attended the event on "personal time." Under U.S. federal law, the presidential seal must not be used in a manner likely to "convey the wrong impression of government sponsorship or approval," and violators can be fined or up to six months in prison. Trump arrived at the dinner by military helicopter from the White House and spoke to 220 top investors who have invested approximately $148 million in $TRUMP tokens.
