Robinhood's encryption revenue doubled year-on-year in the first quarter "
Online reports that Robinhood announced its first-quarter 2025 financial report. Quarterly cryptocurrency trading revenue reached US$252 million, a year-on-year increase of 100%, but decreased from US$358 million in the fourth quarter of 2024. Crypto trading volume during the same period was US$46 billion, down from US$70 billion in the previous quarter. The total amount of crypto transactions in 2024 for the whole year was US$141 billion, mainly driven by the surge in the fourth quarter. Company revenue increased 50% year-on-year to US$927 million, and diluted earnings per share were US$0.37, a year-on-year increase of 10%.
