Internet reports that well-known cryptocurrency investor Anthony Pompliano has applied for a US$200 million IPO via SPAC, and the company is called ProCap Acquisition Corp. The SPAC aims to target high-growth companies in the fintech and digital assets sectors. Pompliano was formerly product director at Facebook and a former co-founder of Morgan Creek Digital, and now runs Professional Capital Management. ProCap's management team includes professionals with backgrounds in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and digital asset compliance.
