Online reports that cryptocurrency over-the-counter clearing platform BridgePort completed a US$3.2 million seed round of financing, led by Further Ventures, and Virtu, XBTO, Blockchain Founders Fund, FunFair Ventures and Humla Ventures participated. BridgePort provides middleware solutions that connect trading platforms, custodians and trading companies. It aims to simplify fund allocation and post-transaction processes, while addressing issues such as prepayment requirements, credit risk and inefficiencies in settlement through real-time messaging and collateral management.
