US CFTC considers allowing futures exchanges to conduct spot cryptocurrency trading "

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) said it is considering allowing spot cryptocurrency trading on registered futures exchanges and seeking stakeholder input to implement President Trump's cryptocurrency development goals. CFTC Acting Chair Caroline Pham said in a statement Monday that the agency wants stakeholders to assist it in providing regulatory clarity on how to list physical crypto assets on CFTC registered futures exchanges, also known as Designated Contract Markets (DCM).
