Bubblemaps: MYX team may be directly related to the $170 million witch attack, suspected insider operation
On September 11, according to blockchain data analysis company Bubblemaps, the MYX team was directly related to the wallet that had previously received a $170 million airdrop, and was suspected of insider operation. Bubblemaps previously discovered that an entity received $170 million from MYX airdrops through 100 new wallets. The tracking started from the MYX creator wallet 0x8eEB and traced back to one of the wallets that received the airdrop, 0x4a31, through cross-chain fund transfer. Bubblemaps stated that the wallet, 0x4a31, not only matched the funding model of 95 other witch wallets, but also sent $2.8 million in MYX tokens to a deposit address that had only been used by another wallet, 0xeb5A, associated with the creator of MYX. Bubblemaps said that in the face of doubts, the MYX team had previously responded that some users requested to change their addresses, but Bubblemaps believes that new evidence shows that the situation may be more serious.
