Internet reports that according to SlowMist founder @evilcos, there have been recent targeted phishing attacks targeting important people in the currency circle. Attackers forged Zoom conference links and combined deepfake technology to create realistic video conference scenes to induce targets to download malware. Once successful control of the target device, the attacker may steal cryptocurrency assets or related cloud platform permissions. Users are advised to check whether the meeting link comes from the official domain name (zoom.com or zoom.us) to avoid being deceived.
