Trump: If I were White House border director, I would arrest California governor

Internet reports that U.S. President Trump said on June 9 local time that he would support the arrest of California Governor Gavin Newsom. Recently, protests in support of illegal immigrants broke out in California, USA. U.S. President Trump signed a memorandum on the 7th to station 2000 California National Guard personnel to the Los Angeles area, causing dissatisfaction among Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Bass. White House Border Affairs Director Tom Homan said on the 7th that he would arrest anyone who obstructed immigration law enforcement, including California Governor Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Bass. California Governor Newsom responded to Tom Homan by saying,"Come and arrest." When asked about Newsom's response, Trump replied,"If I were Tom (White House director of border affairs), I would do this."
