Bhutan teamed up with Binance Pay to launch the world's first national-level travel payment system
According to online reports, according to official sources, the Kingdom of Bhutan has joined hands with Binance Pay and DK Bank to launch the world's first national-level encrypted travel payment system. This innovative move allows travelers with Binance accounts to use digital assets to pay for almost every aspect of their trip in Bhutan, including air tickets, visa fees, hotel accommodation, attraction tickets, tour guide services, and even fresh fruit from roadside stalls. Driven by DK Bank and Binance Pay, more than 100 local merchants have connected to the system.
