Trump hesitates on sanctions against Russia

Internet reported that on Wednesday, U.S. President Trump expressed hesitation about whether to impose sanctions on Russia over the conflict in Ukraine, saying he did not want sanctions to affect the ceasefire. "If I think I'm close to a deal, I don't want to do it so I don't mess it up," Trump said at the White House. Trump also said Russian President Vladimir Putin may deliberately delay negotiations on a ceasefire in the Ukraine war and expressed disappointment with Russia's recent bombing. "We need to find out if he is using us, and if he is, our response will be different," Trump said.
