Robinhood announced the acquisition of WonderFi for C$250 million
According to online reports, Robinhood Markets announced that it will acquire Canadian digital asset platform WonderFi for an all-cash approach of 0.36 Canadian dollars per share and a total price of approximately 250 million Canadian dollars, a premium of approximately 41% to the pre-announcement closing price. After the transaction is completed, WonderFi will continue to operate independently and its team will be integrated into Robinhood Crypto focus on serving the Canadian market.
