Arbitrum withdraws from its accelerator program after Nvidia refused to work with crypto companies
Internet reports, According to The Block, the Ethereum Layer 2 Network Arbitrum Foundation announced that it would withdraw from the Igniting AI accelerator program supported by Nvidia because the chip giant requested that cooperation should not be mentioned in cryptography-related announcements. Previously, the two parties were originally scheduled to reach an exclusive cooperation, and Arbitrum will become the only Ethereum ecosystem representative in the AI acceleration plan. A spokesperson for the Arbitrum Foundation said that Nvidia has recently changed its stance and is willing to maintain cooperation but prohibits public disclosure, a move that shows its lack of long-term commitment to the crypto field. The accelerator program would have provided Arbitration with AI development guidance and cloud service points. It is worth noting that Aptos, another public chain, still maintains a cooperative relationship with the accelerator. The foundation emphasized that the decision to withdraw was based on commercial considerations and will choose "partners who fully support blockchain innovation" in the future.
