ProShares Trust submits an amendment to the registration of XRP series futures ETFs with the SEC, which is expected to take effect on April 30
According to Internet reports, according to US SEC documents, ProShares Trust has submitted Amendment No. 339 and Amendment No. 348 to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to set new effective dates for its three XRP futures ETF products. According to the explanatory section of the document, this amendment aims to specify the effective date of the registration statements of ProShares UltraShort XRP ETF, ProShares Ultra XRP ETF and ProShares Short XRP ETF as April 30, 2025. According to Bloomberg data, ProShares Trust registered eight altcoin futures ETFs with the U.S. SEC on January 17, 2025, including these three XRP ETFs. April 2, 75 days later, was the final decision date for the U.S. SEC to rule on the ProShares series of ETFs. However, the U.S. SEC did not respond to approval or rejection after the registration expired.
