BlackRock CEO: Bitcoin is not a bad asset, but it should not account for too much of the portfolio

According to online reports, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink said in an interview with CBS that he had to re-examine Bitcoin and admit that "cryptocurrencies have the same effect as gold and are both alternative assets." Fink pointed out that Bitcoin "is not a bad asset, but it should not constitute an excessive proportion of the portfolio." In a letter to investors this year, Fink revealed that "half of the investment demand of BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF comes from retail investors, of which 75% have never purchased an iShares product before."
