iCAR 03 looks square, Chery says it's a car for young people。

Following the launch of the brand in April 2023, Chery's new electric vehicle (EV) brand iCAR launched its first model iCAR 03 electric SUV to target young people.。

Chery launched the iCAR 03 on February 28, a boxy-looking pure electric vehicle (BEV), which the automaker says is a car for young people。

There are six options for this model, three single motors and three dual motors. The starting prices are RMB 109,800 (US $15,260), RMB 119,800, RMB 129,800, RMB 139,800, and RMB 159,800. Yuan and 169,800 yuan。

Customers who order the model before May 31 will receive up to $3,000 in trade-in subsidies and benefits such as free charging piles and installation.。

Chery officially launched the iCAR brand on April 7, 2023 as the group's first independent electric vehicle brand。

Chery said at the brand conference, iCAR will be aimed at the pursuit of fashion young people, to create a third understanding of the user's mobile travel space。

Chery said last year that iCAR's products will cover cars and SUVs, with a target price range of 150,000-300,000 yuan。

On top of the iCAR 03, the new brand has a concept car called the iCAR GT, which will be exhibited at the Shanghai Auto Show in late April 2023。

Interestingly, the iCAR brand name is similar to the naming of Apple products, and Apple has reportedly abandoned a decade-long electric vehicle manufacturing effort。
