Online reports, according to CNBC, technology giants OpenAI, Oracle, Nvidia and Cisco today announced a cooperation to build the "Stargate UAE" artificial intelligence park in the United Arab Emirates. The project, located in Abu Dhabi, will cover 10 square miles and have a total power capacity of 5 gigawatts. Under the cooperation agreement, OpenAI and Oracle will manage a 1 gigawatt computing cluster built by United Arab Emirates company G42, with NVIDIA providing chip support, and Cisco and SoftBank responsible for connecting infrastructure. The first 200-megawatt AI cluster is expected to be launched next year. Huang Renxun, CEO of Nvidia, said: "Artificial intelligence is the most transformative force of our time. Through Stargate UAE, we are building artificial intelligence infrastructure to power the grand vision of the United Arab Emirates. "The project is part of a series of artificial intelligence collaborations announced by the Trump administration during its trip to the Middle East last week and is the first international version of the $100 billion joint AI infrastructure project announced in January by OpenAI, Oracle and SoftBank.
