Microsoft spends nearly $10 billion to lease CoreWeave AI servers "
Internet reports that Microsoft will spend nearly $10 billion to rent servers from artificial intelligence startup CoreWeave between 2023 and 2030. Citing the company's comments to investors, the report added that the amount was larger than previously known and accounted for more than half of the total $17 billion in contracts CoreWeave signed with customers. CoreWeave and Microsoft had no comment. According to previous reports, CoreWeave, backed by Nvidia, is preparing for its initial IPO in 2025.
