Weilai opened the F2 plant for public viewing in October last year, saying at the time that the plant's body shop was one of the most advanced in the world, with 756 robots for automated production.。

Ji Huaqiang, vice president of manufacturing, said in an interview with Caijing that the factory will give more priority to the use of humanoid robots and will also consider using robots that can think independently.。English-language media, including CnEVPost, reported at the F2 plant in November last year.。
