An Israeli man charged with spying for Iran in exchange for cryptocurrency

Internet reports, Decrypt reports that Israeli security agencies have arrested a 27-year-old Tel Aviv resident on charges of taking photos of sensitive military-level locations for Iran and accepting cryptocurrency in return. According to a joint statement by the Israeli Security Agency and Tel Aviv police, the suspect Or Beilin completed multiple tasks, including filming sensitive locations and spraying political graffiti. Investigations revealed that Iranian agents contacted targets through social media platforms. Two other Israeli citizens were also arrested for similar espionage, including 28-year-old Dmitri Cohen from Haifa. Cohen is accused of gathering intelligence on the fiancee of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's son. According to reports, the suspect received $500 worth of cryptocurrency for every task he completed, totaling thousands of dollars.
