Australian Securities and Exchange Commission appoints expert panel to investigate ASX's failed blockchain project worth more than $160 million

Internet reports, Decrypt reports that the Australia Securities and Exchange Commission (ASIC) has appointed a team of three experts to investigate the Australia Stock Exchange (ASX). The investigation stems from ASX's abandonment of its seven-year,$163.1 million blockchain project aimed at replacing its CHESS clearing system. The team, led by veteran banker Rob Whitfield, needs to submit a report to ASIC by March 31 next year.
