Curve Finance warns its DNS is hijacked again
Internet reports that Curve Finance, a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, warned that hackers have once again hijacked its domain name system (DNS) and directed users to malicious websites. This was the second time its infrastructure has been attacked in a week, and the team warned X on May 12 that "curve.fi's DNS may have been hijacked." Don't interact!" In a subsequent response to a user who asked whether it was a hack or a hijacking, the Curve team stated that when the user tried to access, the website "pointed to the wrong IP address." DNS is like a directory that converts domain names into IP addresses.
