Trump: Iran has taken the initiative to contact us, and my patience with Iran has run out

Internet reports that U.S. President Trump revealed today that Iran has contacted the United States. He said that Iran is facing many difficulties and Iran hopes to engage in negotiations. They should have negotiated. But he also questioned if Iran wanted to negotiate, why had it not been before? Trump said that although Iran had taken the initiative to contact, he told the other party that it was too late and there was a huge difference compared with a week ago. Iran has no defensive capabilities at all. However, when pressed by reporters, Trump added that nothing is too late. Trump also said that his previous proposal of Iran's unconditional surrender meant that he could no longer stand it and his patience with Iran had been exhausted. When talking about a possible attack on Iran, he said that action may or may not be taken. When asked if an ultimatum had been issued to Iran, Trump said that could be said. He reiterated that Iran cannot possess nuclear weapons. Trump also said he is in daily contact with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who he has told Netanyahu to "move forward" but has not yet signaled to Israel that the United States will provide more aid.
