According to online reports, Crypto.com will hold the first cryptocurrency prize pool golf event "Crypto.com Showdown" at Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas on December 14, with a total prize money of up to US$10 million, all paid in its native token Cronos (CRO). Competitors include Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy of the PGA Tour, and Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau of LIV Golf. The game is in the Ryder Cup style, including four-goal, single game and alternating batting mode. Crypto.com said the event aims to innovate the game-watching experience and introduce cryptocurrency rewards for the first time. The event will be broadcast on TNT TV on December 17.
