Coinbase CLO: It has written to ask the US SEC to allow its employees to hold or use digital assets
According to online reports, Paulgrewal.eth, chief legal officer of Coinbase, posted on the X platform: "I have never understood why employees of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission are required to ban holding or using digital assets. Any potential conflicts are easy to handle. Therefore, I have written to request the U.S. Office of Federal Ethics to revoke and update legal advice 22-04 and request the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Cryptocurrency Working Group to immediately issue an exemption."
