Federal Reserve Hammak: Interest rate policy may remain unchanged for quite some time

Internet reports that in 2026 FOMC voting committee and Cleveland Fed Chairman Hamak delivered a speech on monetary policy: There is currently no urgent reason to cut interest rates, and tariffs have increased uncertainty about the economic outlook. There is still some way to go to achieve the 2% inflation target, and as the Fed seeks clear guidance, interest rate policy may remain unchanged for a long time. (Jin Shi)
