Kenya's High Court orders Project World to delete citizen biometric data collected in the country

The Internet reported that the Kenya High Court ruled that Sam Altman's World project (formerly Worldcoin) illegally collected citizen biometric data, requiring it to delete all iris information collected in Kenya within seven days and permanently stop using cryptocurrency rewards to induce data collection. The judge found that the project had not been approved by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC) and that the "consent" obtained through the issuance of WLD tokens was invalid, violating the country's constitutional privacy protection principles.
