On April 28, it was reported that U.S. congressmen returned to Congress after the Easter recess, making encryption legislation a priority issue, aiming to complete the stablecoin and market structure bill before the August deadline set by President Trump. The House Financial Services and Agriculture Committees will hold a joint hearing on May 6 to discuss the legislative blueprint for digital assets.
