Sam Altman counters back on Meta's large-scale poaching, saying the latter is 'disgusting'

Online reports, according to Wired magazine, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman launched a counterattack against Meta's recent large-scale recruitment of AI talents. Altman sent a strongly worded response to OpenAI researchers late Monday. The response said: "Meta's behavior is a little disgusting." On Monday, Meta CEO Zuckerberg announced the formation of a newly formed super intelligence team, which includes some people from OpenAI. Altman said: "Meta did recruit some great talents, but overall they didn't get the best talent. I can't remember how many people they tried to make here their chief scientists." In response, he also said that OpenAI is evaluating the salary of the entire research team.
