Chery Automobile is currently seeking to pass the Hong Kong listing hearing within this week, Reuters' IFR reported, quoting sources familiar with the matter.

Reports at the end of last month revealed Chery Automobile's plans to initiate its Hong Kong IPO as early as this month. The company's proposed issuance of overseas listed ordinary shares was filed with the China Securities Regulatory Commission on August 27 and was resubmitted with updated preliminary prospectus information on the 29th.
