Police in Paraguay have stopped a crypto mine theft and three China suspects have been repatriated
Internet reports, according to CryptoSlate, Paraguay police recently successfully prevented a theft case at a cryptocurrency mine in the town of Bogado, Coronel. Law enforcement agencies arrested four suspects from China, three of whom had been deported for illegal entry, and the other was detained after being hospitalized for serious injuries. Prosecutor Irene Rolón said the suspects tried to steal servers and computer hardware from the mine. Investigations revealed that these men entered Paraguay illegally via Bolivia and Brazil and worked as programmers in mines. Currently, Paraguay prosecutors are cooperating with Interpol and immigration departments to continue to track down other people involved in the case.
