Rubio "opposes" Trump: U.S. will not expand sanctions on Russia
U.S. Secretary of State Rubio said on Sunday that the United States will not expand sanctions against Russia to avoid interfering with the peace process to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, Internet reported. However, U.S. President Trump issued a document yesterday saying that sanctions or secondary sanctions in the financial sector may be used to deal with Putin. Rubio also said that Russia and Ukraine are generally closer to reaching a peace agreement than they have been in the past three years. The peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine needs to be reached as soon as possible. The United States has multiple ways to hold accountable those responsible who are unwilling to promote the peace agreement in Ukraine.
