Online reports that cryptocurrency data aggregation platform CoinGecko today announced a series of strategic leadership changes to drive its next phase of growth. Co-founder and chief operating officer Bobby Ong has been named CEO, replacing co-founder and former CEO TM Lee, who will transition to president. During his past 11 years as chief operating officer, Ong has played a key role in shaping CoinGecko's business strategy, expanding its global business and enhancing its global influence. TM Lee will focus on advancing long-term product visions and leading R & D projects from scratch to one. This shift allows it to refocus on basic innovation while maintaining strategic continuity. In addition, Cedric Chan will be appointed chief technology officer responsible for leading CoinGecko's technology roadmap and infrastructure. Ho Xingyi was appointed product leader, transitioning from his growth leader role.
