Federal Reserve minutes: Some participants believe labor market risks have become a major issue

According to online reports, the latest released minutes of the Federal Reserve's June meeting showed that some participants commented that compared with employment risks, the risk of rising inflation is still more prominent or the risk reduction is smaller. Some participants believed that risks in the labor market had become a major issue. They pointed to some recent signs of weakening in real economic activity or the labor market, and commented that economic conditions could weaken in the future, especially if policies continue to remain restrictive. Participants agreed that despite reduced uncertainty about inflation and the economic outlook, caution should be exercised when adjusting monetary policy.
