OpenAI opens GPT-4.1 model to ChatGPT users
Online reports that in the early morning of May 15, Beijing time, the U.S. Open Artificial Intelligence Research Center (OpenAI) announced that at the request of users, GPT-4.1 will be provided directly in ChatGPT from now on. GPT-4.1 is a dedicated model that specializes in coding tasks and instructions to follow. Plus, Pro and Team users will be able to access GPT-4.1 through the "More Models" drop-down menu in the Model Selector. Enterprise and education users will gain access in the coming weeks. OpenAI will also launch a GPT-4.1 mini to replace the existing GPT-4o mini, which will be available to all users in ChatGPT. (Jin Shi)
