Data: BlackRock holds more than $5 billion in bitcoin-related stocks "
Online reports that BlackRock's latest 13F file for the first quarter of 2025 showed that its holdings of bitcoin-related assets increased significantly. The report shows that the company invested a total of US$5.43 billion in Bitcoin Spot ETFs and stocks related to Bitcoin Treasury and mining operations. Compared with the fourth quarter of 2024, this number has increased significantly, reflecting the growing confidence of institutions in cryptocurrencies. It is worth noting that the position of BlackRock's flagship Bitcoin spot ETF, IBIT, increased from 2.6 million shares to 5.85 million shares, with a value of US$273.9 million. In addition, BlackRock opened a new position in Fidelity's FBTC for the first time and currently holds 70971 shares worth $5.1 million. At the same time, it has also established smaller positions on grayscale GBTC and GBTC Mini.
