ZachXBT: The cryptocurrency industry's criminal super cycle is intensifying
According to online reports, cryptocurrency security researcher ZachXBT issued a warning today that the "criminal super cycle" in the cryptocurrency industry is intensifying. Researchers pointed out that since politicians introduced memecoin and many legal cases were dropped, industry abuse has increased significantly. Money laundering groups have successfully processed the proceeds of hacking attacks on platforms such as Bybit, DMM Bitcoin, and WazirX. The black market on Tron is estimated to be as high as US$5 billion to US$10 billion, and the source of most of the funds is unknown. What is even more worrying is that many agreement teams turn a blind eye to more than 50% of activities that come from stolen funds and charge only for fees; at the same time, influencers and KOL fraud do not have to bear consequences. ZachXBT warned that while the current environment may bring short-term benefits, the long-term impact is worrying.
