Starknet ecological project zkLend announced closure

On June 25, Starknet ecological project zkLend posted a post on social media announcing that the project would be gradually shut down. Officials said the decision was by no means rash. In the past few months, the security breaches encountered by zkLend have seriously shaken user confidence. The recent removal of ZEND tokens from major trading platforms such as Bybit and KuCoin has further restricted the liquidity and accessibility of tokens. These changes make it difficult for zkLend to effectively allocate resources to carry out new business. In view of the current situation, zkLend believes that using the remaining US$200,000 in treasury funds for user compensation funds is more responsible and practical than restarting the money market or continuing development. The team will continue to stay online and spare no effort to promote asset recovery.
