Coinbase will open new offices in San Francisco after abandoning its headquarters model

Online reports that Coinbase has signed an office lease agreement with the Mission Rock development in San Francisco, marking the cryptocurrency exchange's return to the city after abandoning its headquarters model about three years ago. The move is based on Coinbase's review by Dr. 1090 Maya Angelou Lane received a deal for a 150,000-square-foot space that accounts for more than half of BuildingB developed on the waterfront by Tishman Speyer and the San Francisco Giants. San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie posted on X on Thursday afternoon welcoming Coinbase and writing that San Francisco "is a place to build and grow." According to Mayor Lurie, citing a report in the San Francisco Standard, the space will become Coinbase's largest single office.
