Fed Williams: No immediate concern about foreign investors selling U.S. assets

According to online reports, Federal Reserve Williams admitted that in the context of trade turmoil, concerns about foreign investors withdrawing U.S. assets do exist, but he believes that the United States '"safe haven" status is currently not facing imminent risks. Williams said most of these concerns remained at the stage where "people were just talking about whether to discuss it." He said the United States still has a unique appeal to global investors, pointing to its technological strength and mentioning that "American exceptionalism" had until recently dominated global trade. Williams said: "The U.S. economy is really dynamic. To be honest, we are the center of the artificial intelligence universe." (Jin Shi)
