Standard Chartered expects BTC to reach US$135,000 in the third quarter "
Internet reports that Standard Chartered Bank is optimistic about Bitcoin's performance for the rest of the year. It expects Bitcoin to reach a new high of US$135,000 at the end of the third quarter and exceed US$200,000 before the end of the year. Geoff Kendrick, head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered Bank, said that due to strong inflows of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and increased corporate treasury purchases, Bitcoin has emerged from a pattern of falling prices in 18 months after a previous halving cycle. Kendrick pointed out that these two drivers were not present in previous halving cycles and are expected to support Bitcoin prices to continue to rise. Despite this, Standard Chartered Bank still does not rule out the possibility of possible price fluctuations from the end of the third quarter to the beginning of the fourth quarter.
