New York asset manager KraneShares applies to list on the Coinbase 50 Index ETF
Internet reports that KraneShares, an asset manager focusing on exchange-traded funds (ETFs), is seeking to list a "Coinbase 50 Index ETF" that will track the 50 largest digital assets by market capitalisation. The company filed registration documents with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Friday. Launched at the end of 2024, the Coinbase 50 Index is an index product regulated by the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States. The weight of the index is reassessed quarterly, and its three largest positions are currently 50% Bitcoin, approximately 21% ETH, and 9% XRP.
