Skale launches BITE protocol to eliminate malicious MEV attacks "
Internet reports that Layer1 blockchain Skale has launched a new consensus layer solution called the BITE protocol, which aims to eliminate malicious MEV attacks. This protocol uses threshold encryption technology to encrypt transactions before entering the memory pool and decrypt them only after block confirmation, thereby blocking the verifier's ability to obtain transaction information in advance to carry out run-off or sandwich attacks. The innovation of the BITE protocol is to introduce the traditional financial transaction sequencing mechanism into the blockchain. By building encryption guarantees in the consensus layer, verifiers are prevented from taking advantage of information asymmetry to make profits. Skale CEO said this is a more thorough solution than existing private memory pools and other solutions.
