Internet reports that U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Commissioner Hester Peirce said the SEC is considering a potential exemption order that would allow companies to use distributed ledger technology (DLT) to issue, trade and settle securities and allow companies to use innovative trading systems to trade eligible tokenized securities.
