Franklin Templeton will launch its first tokenized retail fund in Singapore
Online reports, according to Tech in Asia, Franklin Templeton has obtained approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to launch the "Franklin Online Chain US Dollar Short-Term Money Market Fund." This will become Singapore's first tokenized fund for retail investors. Fund shares will be issued through the company's blockchain integrated transfer agent platform, aiming to improve transaction transparency, security and efficiency. The fund's minimum investment amount is only US$20, significantly lowering the threshold for ordinary investors to participate.
