Stelato, the new brand jointly created by Huawei and Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group), will roll out the updated S9 sedan next month, following the model's initial launch in August last year.

Stelato announced the plan today on Weibo, sharing two images of the updated S9 that reveal the model will feature its own logo for the first time.

Neither of Stelato's current models -- the S9 sedan and S9T wagon -- featured a logo, instead displaying the Stelato name in English on the front grille.

The Stelato S9 was initially launched at Huawei's August 26, 2024 product launch event, with deliveries commencing September 7.

The mid-to-large executive sedan measures 5,160 mm in length, 1,987 mm in width, and 1,486 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,050 mm.

The currently available Stelato S9 offers three battery electric vehicle (BEV) variants and three extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants, with starting prices ranging from RMB 309,800 ($43,500) to RMB 449,800.

Earlier this month, spy photos of the updated Stelato S9 began circulating on Chinese social media, with some bloggers indicating the model will continue offering both BEV and EREV variants.

Stelato is one of five automotive brands under the Huawei HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) umbrella, alongside Seres Group's Aito, Chery's (HKG: 9973) Luxeed, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Corp's (JAC) Maextro, and SAIC's Shangjie.

The S9 is Stelato's inaugural model, and the brand officially launched the S9T -- its wagon variant -- on September 16 this year.
