Crypto exchange Bitvavo receives EU MiCA license
According to online reports, crypto exchange Bitvavo recently obtained the Cryptographic Asset Market Regulation (MiCA) license issued by the Dutch Financial Markets Authority (AFM) and is allowed to conduct business in 30 countries in the European Economic Area. Since the regulatory system officially came into effect in December last year, many encryption companies have applied for this license. MiCA will be implemented in 2023 and covers the regulatory rules of crypto assets in the 27 EU countries, Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein.
