Ultraman: Users 'conversations with ChatGPT are not currently legally confidential

According to online reports, OpenAI CEO Sam Ultraman recently mentioned in a podcast when talking about artificial intelligence and legal supervision that artificial intelligence requires a legal system or policy framework. He said users 'conversations with ChatGPT are not currently legally confidential. Ultraman said this could raise user privacy issues in litigation because OpenAI is currently required by law to provide records of these conversations. "I think this is very bad, and I think conversations with AI should enjoy the same privacy protections as consulting therapists-and a year ago no one would even have thought of that," said Ultraman.
