According to online reports, according to Metaplanet's announcement, as of May 7, the company has purchased 555 new bitcoins at an average price of 13,824,064 yen (approximately US$89,000), totaling 7.672 billion yen. The current total position reaches 5,555 BTC, with a total investment of 71.763 billion yen (approximately US$465 million). This purchase is part of its "Bitcoin fiscal strategy." Since 2024, the company will continue to purchase bitcoin through additional stock issues and bond issuance.
